TESTIMONIALS FROM ORGANIZATIONS LIKE YOURS

Our clients - Mission of Sight - helping residents in Jamaica. You can see our distinctive blue BloodChek Medical label on the LDX machines in the background!

  • From Mission of Sight, Jamaica

Our mission in rural Jamaica is an ongoing project to bring access to health care to the residents of Westmoreland and St. Elizabeth Parishes. This rural environment is low income and the residents' access to timely health care is constrained by transportation and financial issues. Our interdenominational group works with the Mission of Sight, a charity that specialized in providing eye care to the population. Because other aspects of health care are essential in preserving eye sight, our group provides health screenings and life skill counseling. As part of our mission we do screenings for glucose, lipids and triglycerides. Rick Schott from Sentinel Medical has been enormously helpful in helping us obtain the equipment we need to provide prompt and accurate results for our patients. As a result of his expertise we were able to enhance to quality of care our patients which results in healthier outcomes for them. We will continue to work with Sentinel and Mr. Schott to improve and maintain excellent health outcomes for this population.

From Morgan at Medical College of Georgia

My name is Morgan, and I am a student at the Medical College of Georgia. Together with several other students, I help run a free primary care clinic serving uninsured patients in Augusta, Georgia. As part of our clinic's outreach, we organize events to bring our services directly to the community, providing medical screenings for those in need. Many of our patients are low-income, experiencing homelessness, or recovering from substance use disorders at local rehabilitation centers. All of our services are free of charge, meaning that we rely heavily on grant funding and access to affordable health screening tools. We are incredibly grateful to Rick from Bloodchek, who provided us with an affordable set of lipids and A1c testing tools. His valuable insights on maximizing our testing capabilities have allowed us to do the most good within our community. Thanks to his support, we have already significantly impacted the health of Augusta residents. I highly recommend their services to other groups aiming to make a similar difference.
