"Our mission in rural Jamaica is an ongoing project to bring access to health care to the residents of Westmoreland and St. Elizabeth Parishes. This rural environment is low income and the residents' access to timely health care is constrained by transportation and financial issues. Our interdenominational group works with the Mission of Sight, a charity that specialized in providing eye care to the population. Because other aspects of health care are essential in preserving eye sight, our group provides health screenings and life skill counseling.
